A Lunchtime Mind-Refreshing Juice
I prefer to blend my fruits and vegetables in a high-powered blender (a Vitamix is my blender of choice) rather than running them through the juicer because I like the fiber and the pulp. But this recipe will work for you either way.
Ingredients
2 carrots
1 small handful of parsley
2 large handfuls of kale, spinach or another power green
1 baby cucumber
1 stalk celery
1/4 red pepper
1/4 green pepper
1 beet (optional for sugar)
*If blending, add 8-16 ounces of water
Directions
Juice together, alternating between the hard and soft vegetables.
If you prefer a sweeter juice, add 1 small orange and a 1” piece of peeled ginger.
