Salsa Beef Breakfast Skillet

More protein in the morning (ie, a protein heavy breakfast) can help you stay full longer and curb those afternoon sugar cravings.

Whether you're trying to lose weight or struggling with a sugar addiction or not, avoiding the typical sweet breakfast foods is always a win in my book.

6 ozs Extra Lean Ground Beef

3/4 cup Salsa

2 Eggs

Add the ground beef to a large skillet over medium heat. Stir occasionally until cooked through, about eight minutes. Stir in the salsa.

Gently form a pocket for each egg in the beef salsa mixture. Crack an egg into each pocket and cover the skillet. Cook for five to eight minutes, or until the eggs are cooked to your liking.

I like to add in some spinach with the egg as well!

Scoop into bowls and enjoy!
