In the Kitchen

Yacón syrup is very rich in flavor and is compared to a mild, fruity molasses. We love to spread the syrup version on toast with our favorite almond butter or drizzle it over a bowl of hot oatmeal. Others use the syrup in pies or melted into caramel sauce. The powder form is similar in texture to a fine flour in solid form, but, unlike common table sugar, it will not dissolve in water. A tablespoon of powder is the perfect flavor addition your smoothie!
