2 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons plain yogurt
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 cups oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons coconut


In a medium saucepan, over low heat stir together the butter and brown sugar until the butter has melted. Stir in the yogurt until the sugar becomes liquid. Remove from heat and stir in oats, baking powder and salt.
Pour into a greased 8×8 pan and sprinkle with coconut flakes. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. remove from oven and allow to cool (and harden) before cutting into bars.
Makes 16 bars.
