Fruit and Cheese Combo
Great for the mom who has to grab and go, an apple and sharp cheese is a quick morning meal. The combination of fiber and protein will jump start your metabolism and ward off hunger.
Almond Butter Waffles
Frozen, high fiber, whole grain, organic waffles are a great option for early mornings. Top with your favorite nut butter, a few chia or flax seeds, and you have an easy out-the-door meal.
Homemade Egg Muffin
If actually using the stove and dirtying a frying pan in the morning has you missing out on a nutrient-rich egg breakfast, then try this recipe. Lightly spray a microwave safe bowl with an organic cooking spray, such as canola oil, and pour ½ cup egg whites into the bowl. Microwave, covered, for one minute while toasting a whole grain English muffin in the toaster. When both the egg and muffin are cooked, add a slice of organic low fat cheese and you have the perfect egg muffin!
