About a year ago, before my little bundle was born, I received a package with some products from a fantastic company called Sweet Knee. The products, with their sweet smells and precious labels went on a shelf for me to try once the baby arrived. I didn’t want to blog about them until I had actually tried them out.
Well, now Silvia is 4 months old and I’ve had ample opportunity to try many different products on her. And I’ve discovered that Sweet Knee is a keeper!
Here’s a little about the company

Just think of calendula, marshmallow, plantain and chamomile. Yummy. We offer a line of essential products for children including cleansing, moisturizing and diaper care products with simply the best ingredients, and full disclosure on our labels so that you can decide what is best for your baby and your family.

Here are some products that I love
Giggle, Snooze and Breathe – aromatherapy trio
Sweet Knee creator "Mama Platt" began her study of essential oils in 1986 (she was just a baby, of course). Through the years she has created many blends, but these are her favorites. Don't be intimidated by these 100% natural and organic essential oils. If you've ever gotten joy from smelling the flowers in a garden or the lemon that you sliced for your cup of tea, then you know a thing or two about aromatherapy! Great for cleaning and helping baby and the whole family enjoy the day and night even when life is a little unbalanced.
Directions (**Don’t ever apply essential oils directly to a baby’s skin**)
For ages 6 months and up dilute essential oil blend in a cool mist humidifier, diffuser, or even a spray bottle with distilled water (5-10 drops for these methods). Use the spray bottle on the high chair, crib linens, blanket, or car seat to set the mood. The blends can also be incorporated into the bath by thoroughly mixing 3-4 drops before placing baby in the tub.
Rubbit Oil
This simply delightful calendula oil absorbs easily into the skin without the use of estrogenic ingredients that can interfere with hormone development in young babies and children. We start with the feet and work toward the heart from day one with all of our little ones. No need to worry about synthetic or harmful preservatives here. Wonderful of course as a massage oil, but just as great as a bath oil and as an all natural alternative to lotion.
Bun Gaze
The bun glaze is the non-medicated alternative to diaper ointment. There are no unnecessary “barrier” ingredients like petrolatum, zinc or titanium found in traditional products. Each ingredient is there for a reason and nothing is chemically altered. Skin is meant to breathe and be chemical-free. Yes, the bun glaze works great with cloth diapers.
Customers say they use bun glaze for insect bites, sunburn, rug burn, extremely dry skin and of course diaper rash. Dads like that they never have to touch the bun glaze when changing diapers because there’s no need to get your hands involved; the glaze can be pumped (drizzled) directly onto clean, dry skin, which helps to keep things clean and easy.
